 Craft Project Directions: To create a Native American headdress, first you'll need to create a headband. Cut a long strip about an inch or two wide from a piece of heavier weight paper that will fit around your head and secure it in a circle. Next cut several more long strips of paper and tape or staple them to the headband along the back so that they will hand down behind you. Now decorate all the strips with colorful feathers and paper designs. Be sure to decorate the headband as well and you will have a beautiful headdress.
