 Craft Project Directions: Get in touch with nature and the trees all around you. To make tree rubbings you need colored construction paper and large crayons or chalk, and some masking tape. Find a tree you like a press your piece of construction paper against its bark. Tape the paper in place and Rub lightly on the construction paper with your crayon or chalk. Remove the tape and take a look at your tree rubbing. Compare it with other tree rubbings that you have made or other kids have made.
