Wonderful window sparklers and festive hanging decorations
Craft Project Directions:
To make some wonderful decorations to hang in your windows you will need some wax paper,colored tissue and/or colored construction paper, newspapers, an iron, and some string or ribbon.First decide what shape and size you want your window hanging to be- a square, triangle, circle, pumpkin,abtract, dreidel, or whatever you wish. Take a sheet of wax paper and fold it in half. Cut out yourshape from the folded wax paper, creating two identical shapes. Put the wax paper aside. Nowit is time to create the window decoration. Draw a holiday design on the colored tissue paper orconstruction paper you have selected and cut it out. You can use different colored paper for differentparts of your holiday design. Now place the paper cut-outs you made between the two pieces of wax paper.Place your creation on top of newspaper and then put a sheet of newspaper over it and iron it together.When it is cool, take a hole punch and punch a hole in the top. String a string or ribbon through thedesign and hang it in the window.
