Make a simple African dwelling.
Craft Project Directions:
To make this hut you will need a round can or jar, brown construction paper, paper shreds or raffia,
crayons, glue, and scissors. First take your jar or can and clean it. Next cut the brown construction
paper into a strip that is the same height as the can and wrap it around the outside of the jar. Secure it
in place with tape or glue. Next build a roof for your hut. Take another piece of brown construction paper
and form a cone to rest onto top of your can. Glue or tape it in place. Now you are ready to decorate
your dwelling. Add a doorway with crayons and paper shreds or raffia for the roof.
