Simple colorful lanterns!
Craft Project Directions:
To make this project you will need two paper plates, different colors of ribbon,
a hole puncher, scissors, and some materials to decorate your paper lantern once you have
put it together. First take your two paper plates and punch holes all around the rims
about 1/2 inch to 1 inch apart. Now cut pieces of colored ribbon about 8 to 10
inches long. Tie one end of these ribbons to each of the holes you punched in one of
the paper plates. Next take the other paper plate and invert it and tie the other ends
of the ribbons to the holes in this plate. Now punch two holes in the very center of
one of the plates and thread through a ribbon loop to hang up your lantern. Place it
somplace special.
