Create a bus and add people and decorations!
Craft Project Directions:
To make this bus you will need a milk or orange juice carton, construction paper, crayons and markers, straws, an egg carton, heavier weight paper, scissors, and small craft sticks. First wash your milk or orange juice carton and let it dry. Now lay the carton flat and cut along the sides of the front to create a large flap- this will be the roof of your bus. Now cut square or rectangular windows out of the sides of the carton and spout. Punch two holes on either side of the carton opposite one another and slip a straw through each set- this will your wheel base for the bus. Now cut out four circles from heavier weight paper and punch a hole in the centers and slip them over the straws to make wheels. Secure them in place with tape or by wrapping a small piece of pipe cleaner on either side of the wheel. Decorate the outside of your bus with markers, stickers, crayons, or whatever else you wish. Take your egg carton and break off the egg cups into individual cups- these will be bus seats. Color and decorate them and place them inside the bus- arranging them like seats. Next decorate the inside of the carton. To make people for your bus: take small craft sticks, cut out small ovals and attach them to the tops of the sticks as faces, add small pieces of pipe cleaner twisted around the stick for arms and legs, and decorate. You are ready to drive!
