Create these easy keepsake plates to enjoy year after year!
Craft Project Directions:
To make this project you will need a glass plate, white paper, crayons and markers, colored tissue paper, decoupage glue,
scissors, white acrylic paint, and some brushes. First take the white paper and make a tracing of the bottom of the plate
on it and cut it out. You will create your picture on this paper. Make a great picture using your crayons
and markers and set it aside. Next take the plate and flip it upside down. Cover the base with your
decoupage glue and then press the picture facing the plate onto it and smooth it out. Now take the tissue paper
and tear off many small colored pieces. Cover the rims decoupage glue and cover them with the tissue paper
pieces. When you are finished let your creation dry for about one hour. Now paint the back over in white paint and
let it dry.
