Carve a beautiful soap creation!
Craft Project Directions:
You can make all sorts of creative soaps using a bar of soap, a paring knife, carbon paper, a pencil and a pointed stick,
and some paper. First take your bar of soap and scrape off any lettering that may be on it. Next take your
bar of soap, rest it on a piece of paper, and trace around it. Now draw the animal or shape you want to create
inside the outline you just drew. Next put a piece of crabon paper on the top of the soap. Lay the drawing you made on
top of that. Now re-trace the drawing you made of the thing you wanted to create. Now, slowly and carefully, cut away the soap
until you reach the lines you made defining your creation. Round out the shape with the knife after you have made a rough
start. Add details and texture using the pointed stick. When you have finished carving wet the soap slightly and rub it with your fingers
to smooth it out more. Paint your soap if you want when you are finished or just leave it as it is. Try making a turtle, a fish,
a duck, and more!
