Do you like to fish? If you do you might really enjoy making this fishing bookmark! This also makes a great gift for the fishing enthusiast or for Dad!
Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need colored construction paper, a colorful pipe cleaner, scissors, crayons, and other materials to decorate your fishing bookmark.
To begin cut out a simple fish using the picture provided as a guide or create dramatic fish of your own using your imagination.
Select a colorful pieces of construction paper and cut out your fabulous fish. The color you choose will be the dominant color of your fish. You could also use a heavier weight piece of paper if you wish to make a more sturdy bookmark. You could cut out several different fish if you would like to change the look of the bookmark every now and then.
Decorate your fish. Add scales, eyes, fins, colors, and more!
Next cut out a long narrow strip for a fishing pole from a piece of construction paper.
Now take a colorful pipe cleaner and attach one end to your fishing pole and the other end to your fish.
Now use your fabulous fishing bookmark to hold your place as you read or give it to someone special.
