The Oneida - 'People of the Standing Stone'- lived in parts of New York, Wisconsin, Quebec, & Ontario, They were part of the Iroquois Confederacy. They built and lived in longhouses. They made beautiful woven belts and baskets. They hunted, farmed, and traded furs. The Oneida had three clans- the Bear, the Wolf, and the Turtle.
