Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year celebration. During this celebration, Jewish people pray for God's forgiveness, a good year, and a long life. Rosh Hashanah begins Ten Days of Penitence, which end on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. Rosh Hashanah is usually held in September.
