Iroquois Indians

The Iroquois Indians were a confederacy of 6 nations: the Onondaga, the Mohawk, the Cayuga, Seneca, Oneida, and the Tuscarora. They built wooden longhouses and lived in New York and Quebec. They played lacrosse. Their four major clans were the Wolf, the Bear, the Deer, and the Snipe. They were farmers and grew crops of cron, tobacco, squash, and beans.
